Nelson to Defend CEO Title at St. Croix

Last year Kim Nelson surprised virtually everyone by winning the CEO Ironman Challenge at the St. Croix Ironman 70.3. The CEO of Royal Containers in Brampton, Ontario finished the challenging half-Ironman event in 5:26. In winning the CEO Challenge, Kim beat 13 fellow CEOs, including 11 men.

Kim will be back to St. Croix May 4 to tackle "The Beast" and defend her CEO Ironman Challenge title against 15 other competitors. The 16 CEOs taking part in this year's event represent companies with over $3 billion in annual gross revenue, and everything from health care (CIGNA) to hedge funds (Cyrus Capital), to IT.

Up for grabs are two CEO Ironman World Championship slots to the overall winner of the CEO Challenge, and to the CEO that finishes in the highest percentage of their age group at the race. These two CEOs from St. Croix will be joining eight others from CEO Challenge events held around the world in Hawaii in October, where they will be racing for the title of The World's Fittest CEO®!
